In 2021, we designed a 1,250 SFT apartment for Mrs. Ulfat Jahan in Uttara, Dhaka. The open-plan layout offered the perfect chance to create a customized Modern Contemporary Home Design from scratch. Our main goal was to deliver a warm, functional, and visually cohesive home for a modern Bangladeshi family.
We planned the apartment to meet two needs—privacy and connection. Each family member received a personal room for comfort and quiet. At the same time, we designed a welcoming area where everyone could gather. Guests could also enjoy the open, friendly atmosphere.
To achieve this, we connected the kitchen, living room, and dining space. This layout increased natural light, improved airflow, and encouraged easy conversation among family and friends.
We chose neutral tones, smooth finishes, and well-selected furniture to create a clean, modern look. Every element had a purpose. Lighting fixtures brightened the rooms, while smart storage kept spaces free from clutter.
This balance between beauty and practicality reflects the essence of interior design in Bangladesh.
The final design feels both elegant and inviting. Careful zoning, efficient space use, and a modern approach transformed an empty layout into a vibrant home.
