In 2021, our team took on the challenge of designing a modern, patient-friendly interior for Aichi Hospital in Uttara, Dhaka. With a total area of 1,650 sqft, the project required a precise balance of functionality, comfort, and aesthetics—qualities essential in any healthcare space.

As an experienced interior design firm in Bangladesh, we aimed to create a healing environment that improves both patient experiences and staff efficiency. A key highlight was the cabin design, which we approached with a future-focused mindset.

Today’s patients are no longer passive recipients of care. The medical community has already embraced the concept of the e-patient—individuals who actively manage their healthcare through digital tools. Building on that idea, we introduced the concept of the d-patient: someone who brings creativity and active engagement to their healing journey.

Our cabin interiors support this progressive shift. We used soft colour palettes, natural lighting, ergonomic furniture, and calming textures to promote well-being and a sense of control. In addition, smart space planning ensured smooth movement, privacy, and functionality without sacrificing style.

We chose materials for their durability, hygiene, and visual appeal—perfect for a hospital setting. Furthermore, we added strategic lighting and acoustic solutions to create a peaceful environment for both patients and staff.

At the heart of our process lies a simple belief: hospital interior design is not just about how a space looks. It is about designing for care, recovery, and dignity.
